Boys Soccer Wins Sectional Title

In its first season in Class A, the Westhill boys soccer team won the Section III Championship.

Top-seeded Westhill defeated No. 3 New Hartford 1-0 at Fulton High School thanks to a last-minute goal from Cal Petrone in double overtime. With 44 seconds left in the second overtime period, Westhill lined up for a corner kick and Petrone found the back of the net to secure the win and Section III title.
