BOE Recognizes Fall Sports Teams

At their December 2nd meeting, the Board of Education recognized the Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team and Cross-Country runner, Teddy Popp, for their outstanding accomplishments this fall. The Varsity Boys’ Soccer team were the OHSL Liberty 1 Champions with a 10-1 record (20-2-1 overall), the Class B Section 3 Champions, the Class B NYSPHSAA Regional Champions, and a NYSPHSAA Class B State Finalist.

Cross-country runner, Teddy Popp, was the Class C Section 3 Champion, qualified for States, and placed 38th in the State.

At their December 16th meeting, the Board of Education recognized the Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Team for their tremendous season this fall. The Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Team were the OHLS Liberty 1 Champions with a 12-0 record (20-2 overall), the Class B Section 3 Champions for the 3rd consecutive year, the Class B NYSPHSAA Regional Champions, and a NYSPHSAA Class B State Finalist.
